Tudor Acid

Tudor Acid's musical education began when his primary school teacher showed the class a film about the bbc radiophonic workshop.  His education continued with time spent in Sheffield in the mid 1990s witnessing the early days of Warp records. His most formative moment was in February 1997 when he figured out how to create and resampling different loops through many different effects.  To this day, bit reduction is as much a keynote of the Tudor Acid sound as acidic analog synth sounds.

His music takes in acid house, ambient techno music, nature soundtracks and more recently drill as its influences.  He has been featured twice on bandcamp best electronic. Tudor Acid ended 2022 and started 2023 with live sets for voices radio, threads radio with others to come.

In 2022 he was featured as a spotlight artists by Tom Ravenscroft on 6 music.   The 2022 album "Empathy for Cyborgs" and its companion EP "A Tune You Hear On The Wind" was the jump-off point where Tudor Acid started to portray personal narratives through music.

The album that he will be previewing at the next gig has narratives that are unfiltered through language first thus giving his music an increasingly liquid structure.
